Our goal was to redesign how a manual is delivered through the use of clean visuals paired with a concise voice over.
Over the past year I started a new line of video manuals for Joey Sturgis Tones, and more recently, Drumforge.
This is something that has been well received so far. My own goal is to popularize this type of manual, being in the multimedia era it makes sense to have these descriptive videos to enhance a software product. They are also used as demonstrational tools, showing practical examples of how the software can be implemented in a working environment. In the case of the Transify video manual, it is used on the drum buss in the context of a mix.
